WHAT IS THIS DISEASE THAT S
COMINC UPON US?
Like a thief at night It .steals In upon
hi unawares. Many persons Imvo pains
about the client nnd sides, anil sometimes
In tho biok. They feel null nnd sleepy;
the mouth has a bad taste, especially 'in
in the morning. A sort of sticky slime
collects about the teeth. The appctlto Is
noor. There Is u feeling like a heavy
ioid on the stomach; sometimes a faint
all-gone sensation' at the pit of the
stomach which food docs not satisfy.
The eyes are sunken, tho hands and feot
become cold and feel clammy. After u
while a cough sct9 in at Urn dry, but
after a few months It is nttended w llli a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
aflllctcd one feds tired all the while, anil
sleep docs not seem to nllbrd any lost.
After a time he becomes nervous, irrita
ble. nndgloomy, nnd has evil fore,
bodings. There is a giddiness, a soil of
whirling sensation in tho head when
, Using up suddenly. The bowels become
costive; tho shin Is dry nnd hot at times;
tho blood becomes thick and stagnant;
tho whites of the eyes become tinged
w Ith yellow, tho urine is scanty nnd high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is lrequcntly a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with a sour
taste, and sometimes with n sweetish
taste; this is frequently attended with
palpitation of tho heart; the islon
becomes Impaired with snots before the
eyej; there is n feeling of great prostm
tion and weakness. All of these symp
toms are In turn present. It is thought
that nearly onc-thiid of our population
has this disease in some of its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men hao mistaken the nature of this
disease. Some hnve treated it fora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but nono of the arious kinds of treat
ment have been attended with succcs,
because the remedy should be such ns to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon the stomach as well;
for In Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease Is) nil of tho3o organs partake
of this disease and rcqulro a remedy
that will act upon all at tho samo time.
Seigel's Curative Syrup acts like n charm
In this class of complaints, giving almost
iniinedialcd relief. Tho following letters
from chemists of standing in the coin,

estimation tho article is held.
