A SKILFUL SURGICAL OPERATION.
Tlie Aincilcan Ainbnssiulor at Vienna,

nearly oncthlrd of the organ and,
strange to say, the patient lecoveieil
the only successful operation of the

which this operation was perfonucd
was cancer of the slomnch, attended with
the following symptoms: The appetite
is quite poor. There Is a peculiar inilcs.

Oftentimes theio is a palpitation of the
heart, and tho patient fears be may have

patient is unablo to retain any food
whatever, as the opening In thu lutes,

though this disease is Indeed alarming,
sull'ercrs with the above named symp

hundred and ninety-nine cases out of a
thousand have no cancer, but simply
dyspepsia, a disease easily icmovcd If
treated in a proper manner. The safest
and best remedy for tho disease is
Selgel's Curative "Syrup, a vegetable pre

Dear Sir, I find the sale of Selgel's

Dear Sir,- 1 write to inform you that
I have deiived great bcnellt from
"Selgel's Syrup." Fnromoyears I have
sull'ered from liver complaint, with its
many and vmied concomitant evils so
that my life was n perpetual misery.
Twclvo months ngo I was Induced to try
Selgel's Syrti", and although rather
sceptical, having tiled so many leputed
infallible remedies, I determined to uive
it at least a fair trial, lit two or liireo
day.s I felt considerably better, and now
at 'tlie end of twelvo months (having
continued taking il) I am glad to say
that I am a dillercnt being altogether.
It Is said of certain pens that they "como
as a boon and a blessing to men" nud I
have no icason to doubt tho truthfulness
of the statement. 1 can truly say, how
ever, that Selgel's Syrup has como as a
"boon and a blessing" to me. I havo re
commended it to several fcllow-suffcrcrs

their testimony is quite in accordance
with my own. Gratitude for the bcnellt
I have derived from, the excellent pre

My Dear Sli, Your Syrup and Pills
aio btill very popular with my customers,
many saying they aro tho best family

The other day a customer came for
two bottles of Syrup and said "Mother
Selgcl" had saved tho life of his wife,
and he added, "one of these bottles 1
am sending tlftecn miles away to a friend
who is very ill. I have much fath in it."
Tho sale keeps up wonderfully, In fact,
one would fancy almost that the people
were beginning to breakfast, dine, and

so great.
