WHAT IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
Like h tlilcT at night it steals in upon
us unawares. Many persons hnvo pains
about tiic chest mill sides, and sometimes
In the hack. They feel (lull nnd sleepy;
the mouth has a bad taste, especially ill
In the morning. A sort of sticky slime
collects about theteeth. The appetite is
poor. There is n feeling like a heavy
I nni I on the stomach; sometimes u faint
nll.gonc seimatlon at the pit of tho
stomach which food docs not .satisfy.
The eyes uro sunken, the hands and foot
become cold and feel clammy. After a
while u cough sets in nt first diy, but
after a few mouths it is attended with n,
greenish colouicd expectoration. The
allllclcd one feels tired all tho while, and
.sleep does not seem to afford any rest.
After a time he becomes nervousirrita
ble, and gloomy, and hns evil foie
, boilings. Thcrc'ls a giddiness, a sort of
whirling sensation in the head when
rising up suddenly. The bowels heroine
costive; the skin is dry and hot at times;
the blood becomes thick and stagnant;
I he whites of tho eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho in hie is sanity and high
coloured, depositing a srdinicnfafter
standing. There isiiocpientlyn --pitting
up of the food, sometime with a sour
taste, and sometimes with u sweetish
liiste; this is frequently attended with
mlpltntion of tho heart; tho vision
becomes imp.iircd with spots bofore the
eyes; there is a feeling ol great piotra
lion and weakness. All of those, symp
toms arc In turn present. It is thought
thai nearly one-third of our population
has this disease in some of its vailed
forms. It has been found that medical
men have mistaken tho untuic of this
disease. Home have tieated it fora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the viuious kinds of treat
ment hnvo been attended with success,
because the lcmedy should be such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon the stomach as well;
for in Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease Is) nil of these organs partake
of this disease and rcquiie a remedy
Hint will act upon all at tho same lime.
Seigel's Curative .Syrup acts like acharni
in tuisclass of complaints, glvingalinost
iinmcdlatcd relief. The following letters
from chemists of standing in the com.
inunlty where they live hhow in what
estimation the article is held.
John Archer, llaithlll, near Sheffield:
I can confidently recommend it to nil
who may bo suHorlng from liver or
stomnoh complaint-, having tho testi
mony of lnyoustomois, who have deilvcd
great beiicllt from the Syrup and Pills.
The sale isincicnsing wonderfully.
(Ico. A. Webb, 111, Yoik Street,
Belfast: I havo sold n largo quantity,
and tho parties have testified to its being
what you represent it.
I. S. .Metcalfe, C5, Highgato, Kendal:
I have always great pleasure In reconi
mending the Cuiative Syrup, for 1 have
never known u ease in which it has not
reliovcd or cined, and I have sold many
grosses.
Uobt. G. Gould, 27, High Street,
Andover: I have always take a great
intcicst in your medicines and I hn
recommended them, as I have found
numerous eases of euro from their use.
Thomas Chapman. West Auckland:
I find that the tr.ulo steadily Increases.
I sell more of your medicines than any
other kind.
N. Dai roll, Chin. Salop : All who buy
it arc plcastd, and recommend it.
Jos. Balkwill, A. P. S., Khigsbridgo:
Tho public seem to appreciate their
great value.
A.Armstcad.Maiket Street, Dnlton.in
Furncss: It is needless for me to say
that your valuable medicines have great
salo in this district greater than any
other I know of, giving great f.atls
faction.
Robt. La Inc. Melkslmm: I can well
recommend tho Curative Syrup from
having proved ilsctheacyforindlge.-.tion
myself.
Vrlockhuim, Arbroath, Forfaishiic,
Sept. 20, 183x1. Dear Sir, Last year I
sent you a letter leeommcndlng Mother
.Selgel'.s Syrup, f havo cry much
plcasuro In still bearing testimony to tho
very satisfactory results of tho famed
Sri up nnd Pills, Most patent medicines
die out with me, but Motlier Seigul has
had a steady salo ever since I com
menced, and is still in as great demand
as when I lirst began to sell the medi
cine. The euros hlch havecomc under
my notice arc eliiclly those of liver
complaint and general debility.
A ceitalu inlulster In my neighbour,
hood says tt is the only thing which ban
benefited him and restored him to ids
hoi mill condition of health after being
unable to pieaeh for a considerable
length of time. I could mention also a
gieat many other cases, but space would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
is very much nddieted to costlveness, or
constipation, Ilnds that Mother Seigel's
Pills are tho only pills which suit his
complaint. All other pills cause a
icactlon which Is very annoying.
Motlier Seigel's Pills do not leave a bad
after.etree.t. I have much pleasuio in
coinincndlnu: again to sull'ering human.
Ily Mother Seigel's medicines, which
aio no sham. If this letter is of any
seivloo you can publish it.
Youis very truly.
(Signed) William S. Ulass, Chemist.

form of Indigestion forupwaids of four
years, and tuok no end ot doctor's modi,
