IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
Like a Ihlcf at night It steals In upon
us unawaies. Many persons havu pains
about the chest and side?, and sometimes
In the back. They feci dull and sleepy;
the mouth has a bad taste, especially in
In the morning. A sort of sticky slime
collects about thctcctli. Thonppctlte Is
poor. There Is a feeling like a heavy
io.ul on the stomach; sometimes a faint
nll.gono sensation nt the pit of the
stomach which food docs not satisfy.
Tho eyes nio sunken, the hands and feet
become cold and feel clninmy. After a
while a cough sets In at first dry, but
nfler a few months it Is attended with a
greenish colouicd expectoration. Tho
alllicted one feels tired all the while, and
sleep does not seem to afford any rest.
After a tlmo ho becomes nervous, Irrita
ble, and gloomy, and has evil fore
bodings. There is a giddiness, a sort of
whirling sensation in tho head when
rising up suddenly. The bowels become
costive; tho skin is dry and hot at times;
tho blood becomes thick and stngnimt;
tho whites of tho eyes bocomo tinged
with yellow, tho urlno isMxinly and high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. There islrequcntly a spitting

taste, and sometimes with a sweetish

pilpitatloa of the heart; the vision
becomes Impaired with spots bofoie the
eyes; there is a feeling ot great prostra
tion and weakness. All ofthesc symp
loins are In turn picscnt. It is thought
that nearly one-thhd of our population
has this disease in some of its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men have mistaken the nature of this
disease. Somo have treated it fora liver
Complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been Attended with succes,
because tho remedy should be such as to

oi gaus, mill upon the stomach ns well ;
for In Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease is) all of these organs partako
of this disease and require a remedy
that will act upon all at the same time.
Seigcl's Curative Syrup acts like acharm
in tills class of complaints, giving almost

estimation the article is held.

Sept. 2U, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
sent you a letter iceonimcndlng Mother
Soigel's Syrup. I havo very much
pleasure In still bearing testimony to tho
very satisfactory results of the famed

A certain miulster in my neighbour

length of time. I could mention also a
great many other cases, but space would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
Is very much nddicted to costiveness, or
constipation, llnds that Mother Seigcl's
Pills are tho only pills which suit his
complaint. All other pills cause a

Mother Seigcl's Pills do not leave a bad
