WHAT IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
I.tlic a tiller tit night It stents In upon
us unawares. Many persons have pains
ubout the elicit and Hides, anil sometimes
In this back. They feel dull nntl sleepy;
the mouth has a hail taste, especially In
In the morning. A sort of sticky slimo
collects about thctccth. Thuappctllc Is
poor. There Is a feeling llko a heavy
load on the stomach; sometimes a faint
nil-gone sensation at the pit of the
' stomach which food does not satisfy.
The eyes nro sunken, the hands mill feet
become cold iinil feel clammy. After a
while n cough sets in at tlrst dry, but
after u few months It Is attended with a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
allllcted one feels tired all tho while, and
sleep docs not seum to all'ord tiny rest.
After a time be becomes nervous, irrita
ble, and gloomy, and has evil fore,
boilings. There is a giddiness, u soit of
whirling sensation In tho head when
rising up suddenly. Tho bowels become
costlvo; tho skin is dry nntl hot at times;
tho blood becomes thick and stagnant;
tho whites of tho eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho urine Is scanty and high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is frequently ns-pitting
up of the food, sometimes with a sour
taste, and (sometimes with a sweetish
taste; this Is frequently attended with
palpitation of the heart; tho vision
becomes impaired with spots before tho
I..' eyes; wieiu ii u ikuiiuu ui giro, iuub.iu-
; f tioti and weakness. All ot theso symp
toms are in turn present, u is iiiougui
that nearly one-third of jour population
lias this disease In some of 'Its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men havo inlstaken tho nature of this
disease. Somo havo ticatcd it fora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment havo been nttended with success,
because the lcmcdy should bo such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
organs, and upon the stomach as well ;
for In Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease is) all of theso organs partake
of this disease and require, a remedy
that will act upon all at the sanio time.
Seigcl's Curative Syrup acts like acharm
in tills class of complaints, giving almost
lintncdiatcd relief. Thefolfowinglcttcrs

Sept. 23, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
sent you a letter recommending Mother
SCigclS syrup, l nnvo very imicu
pleasure lu still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of the famed
Syrup and Pills. Most patent medicines
die out with me, but Mother Solgel has
bad a steady sale ever since I com

my notlco nro chiefly tlioso of liver
complaint and general debility.
A certain minister in my neighbour
hood eays It is tho only thing wkich has
benefited him and restored him to his
normal condition of health after being
unable to preach for a considerable
length of time. I could mention also u
great many other cases, but space would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
is very much addicted to costlveness, or
constipation, Ilnds that Mother Seigcl's
Pills uro tho only pills which suit his
complaint. All other pills cause a
reaction which Is very annoying.
Mother Seigcl's Pills do not leave a bad

commending again to sullcring human,

aio no sham. If this letter Is of any
service you can publish it.
Yours very truly.
