COMING UPON US?.

In tbc back. Tlicy feel dull and sleepy;
tho mouth lias a bid taste, especially in
in tho moraine. A son of sticky slime
uollccls about tlicleclb. Tlieappctitu is
poor. TIutu is :i feeling like u heavy
load on the Uomacli; fcomctimes a faint
all-gono f-unsnllou at the pit of tho
stomach which food does not satisfy.
The eyes aie sunken, tho hands and feet
become cold niul feel clmnmy. After a
while a cough bets in at llrst diy, but
after a few mouths it is attended with a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
aftHeted one feels tiled all the while, and
sleep (Iocs not seem to allbul any icbt.
Aftqr a time ho becomes nervous, irrita
ble, and I'lonmy, and has evil fore
bodings. There is a. giddiness, a sort of
whirling sensation in the head when
rising lip suddenly. The bowels become
costive; the bkln is dry nnd hot at times;
the blol becomes thick and stagnant;
the whites of tho eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho urine is scanty and high
coloured, depositing a sediment alter
standing. TUeie is fieiuently a spitting
up of tho food, sometimes with a sour
taste, and sometimes with a sweetish
i.istc; tliis is frequently attended with
palpitation of tho heart; tho vision
becomes impaired with spots before (lie
evei; there is a feeling ot great prostra
tion and weakness. All of these symp
toms aro In turn present. It is thought
that nearly one-third of our population
has this disease in some of its varied
forms,- It has been found that medical
men have mistaken the nature of this
disea-ie. Some havo treated it for a liver
ooinplaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been attended with success,
because the remedy should bo such as to
act bnrmbniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon tho stomach as well;
for in Dyspepsia (for this is ically what
the disease is) all of these organs partake
of this disease and require a remedy,
that will act upou'all at the same time.
Seigel's Curative Syrup acts like a charm
in this class of complaints, giving almost
immediated relief. The following letters
from chemists or standing in the com.
munity where they live show in what
estimation the article is held
John Archer, Hurtbill, near Sheffield:
I can confidently recommend it to all
who may be sullering from liver or
stomach complaints, having the testi
mony of my customers, who have derived
rreat bonelit from the Syrup and Pills.
,Th'e sale is increasing wonderfully.
Geo. A. Webb, 111, York btreet,
Belfast: I luvc sold a large quantity,
and the parties have testillcd to its being
what you l cprcscnt it.
J. S. -Metcalfe, D.1, High gate, Kendal:
I have always great pleasure in recom
mending the Curative Syrup, for I have
never known a case in which ithasjiot
vulievcd or cured, and I have sold many
frost, cs.
itobt. G. Gould, 27, High Stieet,
Andover: I have always take a great
intcicst in your medicines and 1 liaNO
recommended them, as I havo found
numerous cases of cure from their use.
Thomas Chapman, Wcsjt Auckland :
,L find that the trade steadily increases.
1 sell more of your medicines than any
other kind.
i-riockheim, Arbroath, Forfarshire,
Sept. 23, ' 1883. Dear Sir, Last year I
sent you a letter lecommeuding Mother
Seitrel's Svrun. f havo very much
pleasure in still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of the famed
Syrup and Pills. Most patent medicines
die 'out vith me, but Mother Seigel has
had a steady sale ever slnco 1 com
menced, nnd is still in as great domand
as when I llrt began to sell the modi,
cine. The cures which have come under
my notice aro chiefly those ot liver
complaint ami goneral debility.
N. Datroll, Clun, Salop: All who buy
it are pleased, and recommend it.
Jos. Balkwill, A. P. S., Kingsbridge:
The public seem to appreciate their
great value.
AiArmslead.Markct Street, Dalton.ln
Furncss: It is needless for mo to say
that your valuable medicines have great
balo in this district greater than any
other 1 Know ol, giving great sans
faction.
Kobt. L'.ilne, Molksham; I can well
recommend tho Curative Syrup from
having proved its elhcncy for Indigestion
myselt.
A certain minister in my neighbour
hood says it is the only thing which has
hencllted him and rostored him to his
normal condition of health after being
unnblo to preach for a considerable
length of time. L could mention also a
gteat many othor cases, hut si aco would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
is verf much addicted to costivencss, oi
constipation, finds that Mother Beigel's
PilU ire thu only pills which Bull his
complaint. All other pills cuisn a
reaction which is very annoying.
Mother Soigcl'B Pills do not leave a bad
iifter.cU'uct. I have much pleasure in
commending again ta biiU'crlng human,
ity Mother Seigt-1's incdicltus, which
are no sham. If this letter is of any
service you can publish It.
"Yours very truly,
