Tun O.S. S. Arabic was off port
early this morning. Pilot Mclntyrc
at once went out and boarded her.
She left San Francisco the day after
the Mariposa and is searching for
the missing S. S. San Pablo of the
same line. The Arabic had not
sighted a single sail since she left
San Francisco. After leaving here
she was going round the Island of
Kauai, and then to proceed north
to her usual route about latitude 30.
She had light winds all the way
from San Francisco.

was found the next morning in a
room at the St. David's house lying
insensible. The gas-jet was turned
on full force, and it appears ho wa3

means of an oxygen pump he was
returned to consciousness. He is
pretty well known in this city.
