A QUICK TRIP.
TO HONOLULU .AND BACK IN TIIIUTV
The brig Conauelo, Captain E. B.
Cousins, belonging to J. D. Spreck
els & Bros., arrived in port yester
terdny afternoon from Honolulu,
although tho fact is not announced
among tho arrivals in the Call,
Chronicle, Examiner and C'om
mcrcial Ncm of this morning. She
left this port on April ICtli, arriv
ing at Honolulu on Aprll.28th, mak
ing tho run down in twelve days.
She sailed from there again on May
3d, arriving off the Ocoanlo Com
pany's dock hero yesterday, May
10th. She has thus mado tho round
trio in thirty-three days, including
the time occupied in discharging
and loading cargo while at Hono
lulu. Tho Consuclo is noted as
being one of tho fastest little ves
sels engaged in tho Hawaiian trade,
and Captain Cousins feels justly
proud that she has made tho quick
est round trip on record from San
Francisco to Honolulu and return,
including detention at tho islands.
Tho schooner Anna, belonging to
the same iirm, has mado tho round
trip to Kaliului in the same time,
but this is tho quickest round trip
that has been mado to Honolulu.
