AN INTERESTING LETTER FROM A
AS this is Jubilee year it lends to
inula- one look back and think
of the flight of time, tind in this way
I nin reminded that I nni one of tho
veterans in tho sale of your valtta
blo and successful medicine. 1
have sold it from the very first, and
have sent it into every country in
Knulattd and ninny parts of Scot
Innd. Well do I remember the
tlrst circular you sent out sonic nine
or len years ago. You had come to
England from America to introduce
Mother Seigcl's Curative Syrup,
nnd 1 was struck by n paragraph in
which you used these words:
"Being a stranger in n strngc land,
I do not wish tho people to feel that
I want to take tho loast advantage
over them. 1 feel that I have u
remedy that will cure disease, and
1 have so much confidence in it that
1 authorUu my agents to refund the
money if people should say that
they have not benefitted by its use."
I felt at once that you would never
say that unless the medicine had
merit, and I applied for the agency,
a step wlucli JL now iook oacic upon
with pride and satisfaction.
Ever since that time 1 have found
it by far the best lcniedy for Indi
gostion and Dyspepsia I have met
with, and I have sold thousands of
bottles. It has never failed in any
case where there were any of the
following bymptoras: Nervous or
sick headache, sourness of the sto
mach, lising of the food after eat
ing, a sense of fulness and heavi
ness, dizziness, bad breath, slime
and mucus on the gums and teeth,
constipation, and yellowness of the
cj'es and skin, dull and sleepy sen
sations, ringing in the ears, heart
burn, loss of appetite, and, in bhort,
wherever there arc signs that the
systems is clogged, and tho blood is
out of order. Upon repeated in
quiries, covering a great variety of
ailments, my customers have alwuj'S
answered, "I am butter," or "I am
perfectly well." What I have sel
dom or never been before in the
case of any medicine is that people
tell each other of its virtues, and
those who have been cured say to
the suffering : "Go and get Mother
Seigel's Curative Syrup, it will
make you well." Out of the hun
dreds of cures I will name one or
two that happen to come into my
Two old gentlemen, whose names
llioy would not like nic to give you,
had been martyrs to Indigestion
and Dyspepsia for many years.
They had tried all kinds of medi
cine' without relief. One of them
was so bad lie could not bear a
glass of ale. Both were advised to
use the Syrup and both lccovcred,
and were as hale and hearty as men
in the prime of life.
A remarkable ciiio is that of a
house painter named Jeffries, who
lived at Ponslinrat, in Kent. His
business obliged him to expose him
self a great deal to wind and weath
er, and he was seized with rheuma
tism, and his joints fcoon swelled up
Willi diopsv, and were very stiif
and painful. .Nolliing that the doc
tors could do seemed to reach' the
seat of the trouble. It so crippled
him that he could do hardly any
work, tiiifl for the whole of the win
ter of lttTfi and "Til, h" had to give
up and take !- hi- 1 ed. 11 ha i
been iilllnted in tiiN Him wax un
lliiec year, nirl was gelling woin
out and dicouia,jud. Beside-, lie
had s-pent oer ill lor what he
called "doctor's stuff" without tho
least benefit. In the Spring he
heard of what Mother Seigel's Cura
tive Syrup hnii done for others and
bought a 2s. Cd. bottle of me. In
a few days he sent mo word he was
much better before he had finished
the bottle. He thou sent to me for
a 4s. Od. bottle, and as I was going
that way I carried it down to him
myself. On getting to hii house
what was my nstouishment and stir,
prise to find him out in the garden
weeding an onion bed. I could
hardly believe my own eyes, and
"Yon ought not. to be out here,
man, it may be the death of you,
after being laid up all winter with
rheumatism and dropsy."
His reply was: "There is no
danger. Tho weather is line, and
Mother Seigel's Curative Syrup has
dono for me in n few days what the
doctors could not do in threo years.
I think I shall get well now."
He kept on with the Syrup, and
in three weeks he was at work again,
and has had no return of the trou
ble for now nearly ten years. Any
medicine that can do this should bo
known all over tho world.

The above wonderful euro of
Ilhcuuiatism was the result of the
remarkable power of Mother Seigel's
Curative Syrup to cleanse the blood
of the poisonous humours that arise
from Indigestion mid Dyspepsia.
