AN INTERESTINC LETTER FROM A
VETERAN.
4 S this is Jubilee year it. tends to
XV nmke one look back anil think
of the Ilight of time, and in this way
I am reminded that 1 am one of the
veterans in the sale of your valua
ble and successful medicine. I
Imvo sold it from the veiy first, and
have scut it into cery country in
Kngland and many parts of Scot
land. Well do I remember tho
liist eiicular you sent out some nine
or ten es u'o- ol1 ua come to
Knghind fioiu America to introduce
Molhei Seigel's Curative Syrup,
and 1 was struck by a paragraph in
which ou used these woids:
"Being a stranger in a strage land,
I do not w ish the people to feel that
I want to take the least aihantage
over them. I feel that I lmc a
remedy that will cine disease, and
I have so much confidence in it that
1 authorise my agents to refund the
money if people should say that
they have not benefitted by its use."
I felt at once that you would never
say that unless the medicine had
merit, and 1 applied foi the agency,
a step which 1 now look back upon
with pride and satisfaction.
Ever since that time I have found
it by far the best lemedy for Indi
gestion and Djs)epbia I have met
with, and I have sold thousands of
bottles. It has never failed in any
case wheie there were any of the
following Bymptoms: Nervous or
sick headache, sourness of the sto
mal h, using of the food aftcr eat
ing, a iense of fulness and heavi
ness, dizziness, bad breath, slime
IllIU IllllUUS Ull tllC (111113 Ullll Ittiu,
constipation, and yellowness of the
eyes and skin, dull and sjecpy sen
sations, ringing in the cars, heart
burn, loss of appetite, and, in short,
wherever there are signs that the
systems is clogged, and the blood is
out of order. Upon repeated in
quiiics, tweiing a great variety of
ailments, my customers have always
answered, "I am better." or "I am
perfectly well." What I have sel
dom or ncM'i '-ecu before in the
case of any medicine is that people
tell each other of its virtues, and
those who base been cured say to
the' suffering: "Go and get Mother
Seigel's Curative Syrup, it will
make 3011 well." Out of the hun
dreds of cuies I will name one or
.two that happen to come into 1113'
mind.
Two old gentlemen, whose names
they would not like me to give you,
had been martyrs to Indigestion
and Djspcpsia for many years.
They had ti led all kinds of medi
cine without relief. One of them
was so bad he could not bear a
glass of ale. Both weie advised to
use the Syrup and both lecoveied,
and were as hale and hearty as men
in the piimc of life.
A icmarkablc case is that of a
bouse painter named Jeffries, who
lived at Penshurst, in Kent. His
business obliged him to expose him
self a great deal to wind and weatlj
cr, and he was seized with rheuma
tism, and his joints soon swelled up
with dropsy, and were ery stiff
and painful. Nothing that the doc
tors could do seemed 10 reach the
seat of the trouble. It so crippled
him that he couhl do hardly any
woik, and for the whole of the win
ter of J878 and '7'.), he had to give
up and take tu his bed. He had
been ulJIictc (I in this sorry way lor
three jean., ami was getting worn
out and discouraged. Besides, he'
had spent oer jL'i.'J for what lie
called "doctoi's stuff" without the
leawt benefit, lu the Spring he
heard of what Mother Seigel's Cuia
tie Syiup li.irt done for others and
boil.t a 2s. Gd. bottle of me. In
a few dajs he sent me word lie was
1111 ch bettei before he had fluishod
tin bottle. He then sent to me for
a -Is. Gd. bottle, and as I was going
tin l way I carried it down to him
myself. On getting to Ids house
wl at was my astonishment and stir,
prise to find him out in the gaiden
weeding an onion bed. I could
haplly believe my own eyes, and
said :
J'Yoh ought not to be out here,
man, it may be the death of you,
after being laid up all winter with
rheumatism and diopsy."
Ilio rcplj' was: "Theie is no
Linger. The weather is lit.e, and
Mother Seigel's Curatiw Syiup has
done foi me in a fc dajs what the
doctors lonld not do in lline .teats.
I think I shall get well now." '
He kept on with the Syrup, and
111 thiee weeks he wasntwork ngaju,
and has hnd no return of the troiir
bio for now ncaily ten years. Any
medicine that can do this should be
known all oyer the world.
Yours faithfully,
(Signed) IJui'LUT Gk.miam,

The aboyu wonderful cure of

remarkable power of Mother Sejgel'a
