in Honolulu. I never saw one any

in 1839, which I described as look

POLICE COURT PROCEEDINGS.
Wkdxesdat, Dec. 18.
Ah Kui and Ah Sui, and Isa, a
Chinese woman, were all fined S50
with one hour's imprisonment for
having opium unlawfully in posses
sion. Oscar Schussler was charged with
assault and battery on his wife. Tho
Court thought the parties were both
to blame, and as Schussler declared
his intention of quitting the country
sentence was suspended.
Four drunks had eacli to pay $6.
