Dominion Government has decided
to adopt a vigorous foreign-trade
policy, now that it is asserted that;
the McKiuley bill will divert Cana
dian trade from the United States.
Hon. George E Foster, Minister of
Finance, goes to the West Indies
this week on a trade mission. Bar
badoes will be first visited, then
Trinidad and Demerara. Coining
northward, he will disembark at
Jamaica, and then go to the Baha
mas and Bermuda.
