the Honolulu Harbor Bar.
Be it Enacted by the Queen mid the Ley khi lure of the Hawaiian
Ivimjdom :
Section 1. Tho sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars (S20,
000) is hereby appropriated out of tho public moneys in tho
Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for tho purpose of
furthering tho completion of dredging tho Honolulu Harbor
Bar.
Section 2- This Act shall go into ofl'oct from tho dato of
its approval..

Relating to "An Act to Provide rpn and Regulate the
Internal Police or the Kingdom."
Be it Enacted hi the Queen and the Leijklalure of the Hawaiian
Kingdom :
Section 1. That Section 12 of Chapter YIII of the Laws
of- 1888, bo and tho same is horoby amended to road as
follows :
"Section VI. The lavsnai, aiiuniih mm .utjpuiy onorilts
shall rocoive in full payment of their services such annual
salaries or compensation as shall from timo to lime bo pre
scribed by the Legislature, provided, however, that the
legally prescribed fees received from tho sale and convo'
anco of property under execution or other writ or order is
sued from any Court, to an amount not exceeding fifty dollars
for any one such sale and conveyance, shall belong to the
Marshal or to tho Sheriff or to tho Deputy Sheriff making
such sale and conveyance, tho excess of such foes over said
sum of fifty dollars, if any, to bo returned to tho Treasury .as
a Government realization."
Section 2. This Act shall become law from and after its
approval.

Section 2. This Act shall tako effect upon its passage.

Be it Enacted hy the Queen and the Legislature of the Hawaiian
Kingdom :
Section 1. That tho Fourth and Fifth Paragraphs of Sec
tion HI of Chapter LXXXVI of tho Laws of A. D. 1890, bo
and tho sanio are horoby amended, and tho sumo shall bo
road as followh ;
"Fourth: That portion of tho District of "Wailuku lying
south of North "Wailuku District, and including the Island of
Kahoohiwo, and Honuaula, to be called the South "Wailuku
District.
" Fifth : All that portion lying west and south from tho
gulch of Oopuola and lluolo, and including tho District of
Kula, to bo called the Makawao District."
Seciton 2. This Act shall bocomo law from the. ditto of
its approval.

Entitled "An Act to Provide ron the Holding or an Addi
nional Term or the Circuit Court ron the Third Judicial
Circuit. "
Be it Enacted by the Queen and the Legislature of the Hawaiian
Kingdom :
Section 1. Section 2 of Chapter X1Y of the Laws of 1882,
entitled "An Act to Provide for the Holding of an addi
tional Term of the Circuit Court for the Third Judicial
Circuit," shall be, and tho same is hereby amended, so as to
read as follows :
"Section 2. Only cases arising within the Districts of
Puna, Kau, North and South Kona, of the said Island of
Hau-aii shall bo tried at said term of Court, but cases arising
within other Districts of said Island niay bo heard by con
sent of parties. Provided that in criminal cases arising with
in any district above named, a Magistrate ordering a committal
for trial, or a defendont appealing to said Circuit Com t may,
at the time of such committal or appeal, (as tho case maj- bo,)
so commit for trial by, or appeal to said Circuit Court, at the
term thereof then next ensuing, wheiover such term shall be
hold. "
