Hy Section 17 of "An Act to Amend and
Consolidate the Laws relating to the Ha
waiian Postal Savings Hank," approved on
the 7th dny of September, Is!!.', and on that
day taking elleet, the Minister of Finance
is authorized to issue Coupon Roads of tliu
Hawaiian Government, to le styled tbe
"Postal Savings Hank Loan," to be Issued
only to depositors in the Hawaiian Postal
Savings Hank who may apply for theume.
The "Postal Savings Hank Loan" bonds
are redeemable in not less than live nor
moiothaii twenty years, at the option of
the Minister of Finance, and bear interest
atthoratuof Ii percent, per annum, to be
paid semi-annually, interest ami principal
payable in Oold Coin of the United States
of America or its etjuivnluiit.
Any depositor with an aggregate amount
to his credit in the Savings Hank, of not
less than Two Hundred Dollars t'.ln)) in
Gold Coin of the United Slates of America,
which shall have been on deposit at least
three months, is entitled, on application, to
an issue of "Postal Savings Hank Win"
bonds in exchange therefor, in sums of
One Huudied Dollars ($ lou) or multiples
thoreof.
