They aro enlargements from old

who does not claim to bo an export,
deserves credit for the faithful re
production of tho original. The
pictures look well in their gilded
frames, and it rests now with Mr.
Auld whether they will bo sent to
tho Midwinter Fair as a sample of
what a Hawaiian novico can do in
this lino of art.

Leastwise it is not so with tho
California Feed Company. Wo

through all tho hard times other
people are complaining about.
Wo havo just secured from. Mr.
J. F. Colburn his old stand, cor

and taken possession of those
largo and convenient promises.
We had to do so, because our

for our fast-increasing business.
In a few days the bark "Mauna

fourth full cargo of Hay and
Grain, bought by our Mr. J. N.
