The great advantage to bo derived from the turn of the National Oanh

The use ot the Siiredukh very targuly augments the quantity of cane
the mill can grind ('25 to 60), also the extraction of juice (6 to 12.).
It is a great safeguard, making known at unro tho presence of auy
piece of iron, stakes from cars, or anything whiuh would be liable to damage
the mill, and allowiug ample time to remove sumo before damaging the mill.
The Smrsddkk is very strongly made, aud from the manner of its opera
tion it cuts or tears these pieces ot wood or iron without often breaking the
Hhrbddkh; and if anything breaks, it 1 simply some of the knives or cutters,
which can be quickly and economically replaced. The Sukkdder, as its
name indicates, tears the cauo into shreds of varying lengths, perfectly open
lug it and allowing the mill to thoroughly press out tho juices without re
quiring the immense extra power necessary to grind or crush tho whole
cane. The Shhruuku spreads the shredded cauo uniformly and evenly to
the mill rolls, and does away with the necessity of spreading the bagasho by
band between the mills, where regriudiug is iu use. No greater amount of
boiler capacity is required to operate the Siikeudkh than that which war
sufficient for tho mill, for the above reasons. We furnish full working
drawings for tho installation of our Siikkdukkb, enabling any competent on
gineer to successfully install and start them.
In ordering Siikkijiikkb from us, please send small sketch, showing the
diameter and width of tho mill rolls with which StiKKUDiutis U bo connected,
also the sido (cither right or left hand as you face the delivery sldo of tho
mill;, upon which the mill engino is located, also the height from Door line
to center of front mill roll shaft, aud distance center this shaft to (rout cud

and Uawi Mill, Kohala, whero they are giving great satisfaction.
