There is probably less coal used
hero in private families than in any
city to which that article is export
ed. Tho reason is plain wood is
cheaper aud of better quality. Na
ture provides Hawaii nei with tho
wonderful aud rapid growing algo
roba aud it supplies tho fuol for tho
peoplo. Anyono who has over visit
ed tho neighborhood of Waialao has
beon attracted by the forests of trees
of this description. Peoplo who
have gone thoro to inspect Mr. Ison
brg'a ranch bavo marveled at tho
care and attoution given tho cutting
of trees for tho market. As tho sup
ply cuts some of tho ice in regulat
ing tho prico of a commodity so the
thousands of trees on Waialao Ranch
act as a factor in putting down tho
prico of wood. Mr. Isenberg sells
wood cheaper than anybody else and
delivers it free in any part of Hono
lulu. Ring up eithor telephone and
got a cord.

Six years of nctunl use in exterior

most trying climate for paints), in
tho burniug heat of tho Ariiona Des

tho Atlantic coast, have fully and
practically shown that Lucol always
