being lined with white tiles, and
lilted with hot and cold water
douches. The forward saloon pas
sengers are very comfortably pro
vided for by n saloon extending otw
the width of thu vessel, which has a
tiled Moor, and is Tilted with nume
rous small tables and settees; is
heated by steam and lighted by
electricity; and has many cabins for
two, three and four berths iu them.
Ilesides large tauks for fresh water,
the steamer has a condeuser sua
distiller, of the latest method, with
a capacity of 'J000 to ItOOO gallons a
day. Thu passengers' provisions are
kept fresh in specially desigued pro
vision chambers which are cooled by
a brine pipu installation. Thu es
