Chinese were arrested this morning

house at tho corner of Smith and
Hotel streets for playing "pailtan."

A purse containing $15 in gold
and a twenty-five cent silver piece
was picked up by a half-caste boy

purse was handed to Otllcer Kupihea,
who in turn reported the find to the
Police Station. A notice was posted '
up at the Fish market notifying the
owner of the purso to call at tho
Station for it.
