A Japanese woman was run over
yesterday afternoon on Maunakea
stroot and badly burt. Sbo was
crossing the streot wben John
Jacobson, who was on horseback,
camo along. Before the woman
could gft out of tho way she was
knocked over and the hoofs of tho
animal struck her on tho nock. Tho
woman was picked up unconscious
and taken to the Quean's Hospital.
Jacobson, who is employed on tho
S. S. Australia, was arrested for furi
ous and heodless driving.
