Third Deserter Caught.
Two natives accompanied by a
police officer arrived at tho Police
Station yesterday aftornoon in
charge of Spunmeyer, the last of the
dteorters from tho German batk J.
0. Glade. Tub sailor was caught at
Kaneoho, Koolau, whithor he had
wandorod from town. The mon
who apprehended Spunmeyer, not
being connected with the Govern
ment serrice,received the $20 reward
in full, whereas if an officer had
caught him ho would havo received
only one-half the roward. The
other two desoiters belongiug to the
same ship were caught at Kakaako
on Friday night. With the men
who brought Spunmeyer iu was an
other sailor, a deserter from tho
bark T. F. Oakes, which has depart
ed for New York.
