Flro Last Night.
Au alarm was sent in for a fire on
Liliha street about 7:30 o'clock
yesterday evening. Tho depart
ment turned out promptly, making a
very pretty sight as the engine went
along King street. Company No. 1
was slightly in tho lead. The fire,
which had been extinguished before
tho department arrived, was found
to bo in a house occupied by Georgo
Voiui, engineer on tho steamer
Kaala. It was caused by tho ex
plosion of a lamp. George Woolsey
put out the (ire, scorching his left
hand while desiring so.
