China, on Juno 28th collided with
the stoamer Toyo Mnrut which
was lying at anchor. ' Tho Moji
Maru hud on board 8 offioers, 254
non-commissioned officers and

4-1 army coolies and 163 horses.
JEhe Moji is said to have dropped
her anchor, but to have been cur
ried by tho tide across tho bows
of tho Toyo, receiving sorious
