bark Orthes, which reports a passage of 41
days from Yokohama, with 2000 tons. The
cargo Is In transit for the East and was re
shipped from Portland by the railroad. There
arc two tea ships on the way lrom Yokohama
to Tacoma, which arc out 14 and 17 dajs re
spectively, and another has been engaged to
follow. The big ship 8 P Hitchcock Is 10 days
out from Yokohama for Ban Francisco with
a full cargo of tea, which will b.e shipped
thence by the Southern Pacific to markets in
the Atlantic States.
