Tho h II of tho Y. M O. A.
was well filled last night on the
occasion of Zamloch's second per
formance of magic and mystory
and thoso prosont wont homo
more myslifiod than ovor. The
first part of the ontortainmont
was devoted to tho old wino and
water foat, tricks with cards nud
aword and such liko. Tho hand
kerchief trick was especially well
done, as was that in which Pro
fessor Zimloch's songster, a
guinea pig, took a piominont
pjrt. Tho drum and ttblo rap
ping, already described in thoso
columns, was ropouted uud no
one seemed to havo tho faintest
idea of how it was done. Tho
first part concludod with the
wonderful coiteo trick in which
boiling coffee and milk aro pro
duced from empty containers and
served to tho audience
Iu tho second part of tho enter
taiumont tho professor showed
how easy it was to do tho slato
writing tricks performed by Slade
and othors.'and the audience aro
still wondering how two rings
borrowed from tho audience
appeared tied to the logs
of two tamo doves. Tho
magic rings wero a Bourco of won
der, as was tho fiowor bIiow.
In his cabinet manifestations,
with whioh the ontortainmont
closed, Zamloch nud his assis
tant, "Billy" Marx, who givoH
ono that "tired" fooling out of
pure sympathy, gives a wonderful
exhibition. Tho committeo bo
lootod to tio the professor and his
assistant last night consisted of
F. Sponcor, Tom Walker and A.
G. M. Robertson, and Ztmlooh
gave Mr. Walkor the credit of
doing a good job. The committee
wero as much mystified aB tho au
dionco and were unablo to doteot
how tamborines and horns wore
thrown out of tho cabinet, or how
tho men got thoir coats of! with
out disturbing tho knots of tho
ropes with which the men wero
tied. Whon tho two imon were
finally found in the wrong chairs
with their coats on and securely
bound tho audienco was too much
surprised to givo them the ap
plauso tho performance merited.
