from Brazil, where thoy had been
working for years and had amass
ed considerable fortunes, which
they wore taking homo. Thoy
remained several days spending
money freely and gambling ex
tensively. Tuesday Miner accused Pope
Gonzales, Acting Mayor of Ohu
quisaca, of having cheated them,
playing marked cards, and oll'ored
to prove his assertion. Gonzales

down by Joiner, and u general

licly. Their horses and other

is known that Gonzales has dis
