is arranging for tho construction
of a similar cablo, and tho United
States should bo tho first in tho
field. Both commercially and
politically the proposed cablo is
of tho highest importance to this

South Boston and was romoved to
Philip's Island in tho harbor. A
dispatch from Boston says: "That
it is a caso of loprosy is notdonied.
