that three deserters from the Adams had
reached San Francisco by stowing nway In
tho schooner Aloha, on her last trip to the

that he thought the men wcro aboard. As It
Is very Inconvenient to pull a vessel's cargo
apart after sho Is loaded for sea, no extraor
dinary cirorts were made to get the runaway
