Break butter up into small pieces and
throw it into a basin of new milk. Let
it remain, say, one-half hour, then

if not for the table. Another way is to
put tho butter in u porcelain dish with

water until they aro tender; then drain

Cherrlea mid Tapioca.
Cook and sweeten three tcucnpfuls of
pitted sweet cherries. Cover with two
tablespooufuls of tapioca which lias
been soaked 13 hours in a little cold
water, then cooked in 2J tencupfuls of
milk and sweetened with half a teacup-
ful ot Bugnr. bcrvo with sweetcued
cieam flavored with vanilla.
