a capture of oloven tins of opium
last Friday. A Chinaman, Chu Kit
by name, was seen by Sea on tho
street. Ho was walking along as
ifho had somolhing concealed on
bis person. Sea arrested tbo fel
low and found tho opium in a
cloth bolt about his waist. Chu
Kit was tried on Saturday and
fined $250 and costs. As tho
Chinaman was unablo to pay his
fine, ho was brought to Oahu jail
by Sea.

to Pearl City yesterday. Included
