on Saturday, April 1, 1899, for the pur
chase of Hawaiian Government 5 per cent
bonds, to the amount of Two Hundred and
Fifty Thousand Dollars (I250.ooo.oo), of
the denomination of One Thousand Dol
lars (1, 000.00) each, under the provisions
of Act 71, approved the 3rd day of June,
1896, entitled "An Act to provide for Pub
lic Loans," tenders to be underthe follow
(1) f2oo,ooo.oo In whole or in part; to
be called for between April 30th and Nov
ember 30th, 1899, on thirty days notice
from the Treasury.
(2) 540,000.00 on lots not to exceed t s,
000.00 to any one party; payments to be
made on demand.
(3) f io.oooo.oo for single bonds, each
applicant to be entitled to only one bond;
payments to be made on demand.
Uusold lots under Sections 1,2 and 3
will afterwards be at the disposal of ap
plicants at the Treasury.
The'above mentioned bonds are not re
deemable before July 1, 1901, or later than
January 1, 1916. Interest and principal In
