issued except that hold by the Ni
caragua and Costa Rican Govern
ment. The company is also required to
redeem and caucel bonds and scrip
heretofore issued by the company
and to satisfy all cash liabilities.
To enable the company to comply
with these requirements Treasury
wnrrants to tho amount of $5,000,
000 ore authorized, with a proviso
to the effoct that only so much of
the amount shall bo required to
pay tho actual caBh value of tho
right, privileges, franchises and
properly at tho timo of tho puy-
mentj tno value to bo clotormiueu
by commissioners to be appointed
Ly tho Prosident. ,
This being done, the Secretary
of tho Treasury is authorized to
subscribo for 925,000 shares of the
company's stock for tho Govern
ment of the United States; tho
. present members of the board of
directors are then to resign and a
board of seven is to be appoiuted,
consisting of five in behalf of the
United States and one each in be
half of Nicaragua and CooU Rica.
Tho directors on behalf of tho
United States are to bo appointed
