We are quite safe In stating that no other retail house In this city enjoys the facilities In every respect to purchase
goods In such large quantities as we doj this owing to the fact that our business in Honolulu is a branch of one of
Uie largest department stores in California. There is no reason why we should not be able to sell the choicest and
most reliable makes of merchandise at prices ithat will astonish everyone.
Our manager, Mr. Ehrllch. during the time he was East had the advantage of knowing what styles are best
suited for the Islands, being off and on here In business for about eighteen years: so we feel quite confident the
selections made by him and our other buyers will no doubt meet approval of most of the people here.
We hardlv consider It necessary to write a longer letter of Information, as the ladles of Honolulu will soon find
out "Facts" about THE PACIFIC IMPORT CO. Such "Facts" will talk louder than all the advertising we can do.
Relating to the store, ladles will find It a very pleasant place to do their shopping, as It Is a new building of modem
construction, plenty of ventilation, light, roomy, and fitted up In the most modeni style.
It will be ourgreatest endeavor to please the public and constantly place the newest productions to meet the
