"I was covered with bolls all over my face

After taking the first bottle I could see an

skin waa clear, my appotlto returned, and
my health was entirely restored. I am
thankful I ever found such blood puri

Theio trunks are far from being
ordinary affairs, indeed, eighty of
them come under tho bead of
"Mammoth," each trunk requiring
four men to handle. They are four
times' tbo size of tho much-talked
about "Saratoga," and made of

They are the wardrobe trunk and
contain about $7G,(,00 worth of cob

It will thus be readily under
stood that the wardrobo mistress
and her two assistants aro most
important factors with the Lyric.
Their work never ceases. It is stit
ohiog mending and ironing day
aftor day, so everything mast bo
in a perfoct state of neatness for
each production. It is a sight
never to be forgotten to see these
three women at work, surrounded
by a mass of silks, laces, volvets,
iron armor, silk tights of all hues,
slippers, sandals and the thou
sand and one other little oddities
that aro required fof costuming an
oera. A novice would be com
pletely at sea putting things cor
rectly together; yet these women
aro so accustomed to their work
that they know tho disposition of
every piece of material for the en

China Daily News says that ar
rangements for the dethronement
of Emperor Kwang Hsu aro pro

This imperial candidato can only
speak the Manchu dialect and
knows no Chineso.
Kwang Hsu has already been
urged to draw up a memorial to
tho Empress Dowager asking to
bo allowod to resign his throne
owing to his chronio illness. Pro
teose will be madoby the Empress
Dowager to refuso acceptance of
tho resignation and to consider
the matter again. This will bo
dono Ihreo times and the third
timo the resignation is to be ac
cepted, as showing the Emperor
really anxious to resign.
