Stanton as Ucttcnla, Miss Leekly as
Flumctta, nnd Mr. ItockwcU as Pcppo.
Messrs. Henderson nnd Ktinkel ns
l'rlnco Lorenzo nnd nocco, respective
ly, were Irresistibly funny, keeping tho
houso In continual roars of laughter.
Mr. Kunklo was at his best when ho
performed tho march through l'rlnco
Lorenzo's throno room ns his majes
ty's Blnglo guardsman. Mr. Hender
son's mnko-up wns nbovo crltlcUm.
Perhaps tho strongest pleco of acting
on his part was when expressing satis
faction. This was particularly good
when Pcppo was discovered In Prlnco
Miss Stanton's singing was very ar
tistic, particularly In her work with
Mr. Ilockwell ns Pcppo. .Miss i.cemy
was ns graceful as over, maintaining
this In her silks nnd finery nnd In her
dress of n wnnilcrlng minstrel.
Tho chorus did excellent work. It
was of good quality, strong und well
maintained. Tho drill by tho ladles of
tho chorus In tho third act was a spe
cial feature nnd proved a decided hit.
Tho applause wns so great that the
ladles found It necessary to return on
tho stage and give tho latter p,ut of
tho Intl Irate drill.
A. L .Parmlcy ns Prlnco Frederick
and Mr. Rockwell ns Peppo, were
