ed with flowers.
President McKlnlcy sat In tho front

accompanied by the Scctetary of State
and tho Secretary of tho Treasury. On
tho left of tho tilslo on the front pew,
were Mrn, Hobart and son, Garrett IIo
bart and Hobart Tuttle. Immediately

gressmen. Tho Hobart pow which Is

with floral offerings.

hour nnd were conducted by Rov. Dr.
JIagcc. They began with an organ prc
ludo and rending of Scriptures by the
Rov. Charles P. Shaw, pastor of tho
Second Presbyterian church of Pater
son. Then followed tho singing of tho
hymn "Nearer My God to Thee," by the
Orpheus Club. Dr. Mageo then nrcach-
cd tho funeral sermon nnd offered pray
er. This was followed by tho anthem

pronounced by Dr. Maglo.

and all that was mortal of Vlco Presi
dent Hobart was carried out to tho
