has been a resident of Honolulu, arriv
ing hero first with Lee'u Clrcm. JIo
was charmed with the Island nnd do

Ho has been Identified with tho po
llco and flro departments hero In which
ho saw sonio active service. When In
the police forco under Marshal Parke
he was a captain and In the old volun
teer flro department was ono of tho
most useful members,
Dodd was an Irishman, born In
Uelfast about 67 years ago. Ho aud his
sister followed the circus as performers
from early childhood. Tho sister 1b
still performing In Europe. This sister
and two brothers survive tho deceased.

formerly of Australia, who lately
passed through hero with his family.
Jim Dodd was a member of tho Ma
sonic fraternity, tho Knights Templars,
Knights of Pythian and Garfield Post

liberal and a great amount of charity
