Drandfort. Tho Federals attacked them
on two sides, and tho llrltlsh retired.
Two federals wcro wounded nnd cloven
prisoners wcro taken. Another ac
count, semi-official of this nrtalr, sayi
that the Wakkcrstroom and Krmclo
commands had n skirmish with the
Lirltlsh near Drandfort.
After n sharp fight eleven prisoners
were taken nnd 19 llrltlsh wcro left
dead on tho field, Including Cantaln
lauuy. A few federals wcro wounded.
The heavy bombardment by tho Drltlsh
has been resumed at Fourteen Streams.
