Insurgents Still Active.
Manila, May 30. Lieut. Jcnsostodju,
of Co. L. 17th Volunteers, commanding
a scouting party, In the southern part
of Albay province, had several en
gagements with tho insurgents, In
which seventeen of tho enemy wro
killed and twenty-three. Including a
captain, were captured.
Six Insurgent bombs and a nunilxr of
valuable Insurgent documents also fell
Into the hands of the Americans. The
Bcouts burned tho town of Yubl, the
headquarters of the rebels. Sergeant
Brlcklcy was killed during a slight en
gagement near ninao, provluce of Al
bay, yesterday.
