The discussion over tho use of light
ning rods continues in the technical
papers. Tho Electrical Review declares
that the discussion has not shown that
the rods are of any use, and that any
evidence given would necessarily m of
a negative character. It holds that the
electrician must wait for better know
ledge before he can design a perfectly
satisfactory protection, and that o'lt of
the confused mass of lightning lore
there has not yet come a satisfactory
explanation of Its action or Its cause.
