the batch reported the other day, tho
defendant In each case denies Its lia
bility under the policy of insurance.
Maria da Mctta petitions for letters
of administration to J. A. M. Osorlo on
the estate of her deceased husband,
J 080 da Mctta, which is of the value of
Deborah Pohlna and Pohlna her hue-
band by their attorneys, Robertson &
Wilder make answer to the complaint,
for partition of the Kapiolanl Estato
Limited. They do not know, of their
own knowledge, whether the plaintiff
Is entitled to on undivided one-half of
tho lands described In the complaint,
but they deny that It Is imposslblo for
tho owners to agree among themselves
on a division of the property.
Judge Humphreys has rendered a de
cision in favor of defendant In the suit
of John It Estate Limited vs. A. II. II.
Judd. Defendant became such on sug
gestion of the death of A. .F. Judd, her
husband. Tho suit was for a piece nf
land on tho Walklkl side of the road
leading to Walklkl. It turned on the
wording of tho will of the Into John II.
As guardian of the testator's daughter,
Ireno II, tho late Mr. Judd Included the
disputed land in the Inventory of her
estate. After she had come of ago and
married C. A. Drown, Mr. Judd in cor
respondence claimed the land as his
own. Judge Humphreys finds from tho
wording of tho will that the property
belonged to Mr. Judd, and that his
designation of It as part of Miss It's
property while he was her guardian
did not estop him from claiming it
later. It was his duty to protect tho
interests of his ward where thero was
doubt. If Mr. Judd ccr believed that
the property was- his ward's, the
Court's Interpretation of tho will was
that he was mistaken. J. A. Magoon,
Kinney, llallou & McClanaliarf and A.
W. Carter for plaintiff; Robertson &
Wilder for defendant.
J. A. Thompson, master, has render
ed a report on the account of Charlotte
D. King, administratrix of the estate of
the late James A. King, He finds to
tal receipts of 13508.87, and disburse
ments of $1292.43, leaving a balanco
due tho estato of S221G.14. The origin
al Inventory showed real estate valued
at t7C75, nnd personal property at
18150, a total of $10,125. A later In
ventory shows that six shares of Wll
der's Steamship Co., $000, and ten
shares Building & Loan Association,
$2000, had been disposed of.
