With each of the candidates for rele

brought to a teat that will have an

Today the American people and the
American Congress know that the citi

necessity be representative of the
strength and character of HawalUns.
They know that tbo native Hawallans

the United States as an evidence of
weakness of character rather than
strength. Samuel Parker Is known

capabilities who always commands a
respectful hearing wherever he may be
placed. On the other band, Wilcox Is
associated with revolutions that have
failed, who while he was In Washing

aststaucc of others, even this assist-
rnco he cannot command should he
appear In the national capftol as the
representative of an Independent party.
He would be without party affiliation,
und should he after election attempt
to ally himself with the party leaders
of cither side he would secure only the
distrust of both.
If the Hawaiian-Americans value
their good name they 'will not 'give
