The body of Jonathan Spooner, an
old kamaalna, aged nhout TO, was found
at his homo hack of tho Kamchamclu
schools, Wednesday afternoon, by V
r. Jones. A coroner's Jury was sum
moned and n visit to tho placo was
made. Tho body was found to ho bad
ly decomposed. It was In a rocker In
front of tho shanty door and from all
nppcarancoB, It had been there for a
week or more. Dr. Pratt examined tho
body and then and there decided that It
would be Impossible to hold a post mor
tem examination on account of tho con
dition ot the body.
Tho coroner's Jury met nt tho usual
place yesteiday morning and rendered
a verdict to the effect that deceased ha 1
come tn Ills denth as a result ot natuial
causes. Tho body was burled In Ma
klki ceratcry yesterday afternoon.
Deceased had been troubled with an
affection of tho stomach for some tluu
previous to his death. About n fort
night atio ho called on Moses Nakulna,
his nearest neighbor and naked him for
somo medicine. Ho received this and
went away. This was the last seen of
Deceased leaves a daughter, tho wife
