Officer Lambert, who watches out for
the, snfety of the traveling public on
Fort street, made a splendid catch of a
runaway horse an Klnau street nt the
corner of Fensacola this morning ut
about 7:30 o'clock as he was making
his nay toward the police station to
report for duty.
Lambert heard a horse coming down
the street at a terrific rate and turned
around just In time to see a lady hang
ing over the dashboard of her bugry
and attempting to get the reins out
from under the tall of the animal. Half
falling from the seat was a three-year-old
Lambert did not attempt to ask any
questions but rushed out Into the road
nnd, grasping the reins, soon had the
nnlmal at a standstill. Had the offlcr
not been on the scene, there Is no doubt
whatever that the consequences would
have been serious Indeed. The horno
