C. Knox of Pittsburg, Pa., has been se

luau was given by Mr. nnd Mrs. Sam
Kelllnol nt their Wnlluku home last
Monday evening. About forty Invited
guests were present. The luau was
spread In tho large dining hall and
about thlity ladles and gentlemen sat
down at the first table which was most
sumptuous In appearance. All did Jus
tice to the many enticing viands pro
vided by tho host nnd hostess for the
entertainment of their guests. Many
of the gentlemen offered toaBts to "our
host nnd hostess, 'to "the ladles." and
the like. The luau was ono full of
mirth nnd laughter from beginning to
end. Tho remainder of tho evening
was spent In singing with guitar ac
companiment and also listening tn the
melodious tones of tho grnmnphone.. It
was n little before midnight when tho
party broke up nnd tho guests began to
