all probability will reach San Fran
cisco ahead of the Zealandla.

Three VchhcIs With Coal.
Three coal vessels arrived1 yesterday
from Newcastle. The bark Fantasl brings
1827 tons. She was eighty days on the
trip. Captain Petersen Is accompanied on
the vessel by his wife whose name appears
on the ship's articles. The schooner Tran
sit brings coal to the.amount of 885 tons.
She was 69 days on the voyage up. Cap
tain Jorgensen Is accompanied by Ills wife
and two children. The schooner Olga has
740 tons of coal. She made I he run In 63
days, all the vessels are here to order.
Steamer and Sullerx Depart,
Quite a fleet departed this morning for
the Coast. 'I he first to get awsy was
the Norwegian bark Passepartout, then
the schooner Charles J Falk. A little be
fore noon, the Hadyn Brown was towed
to sea and, this afternoon, the James
A little later than the time set for sail
ing this morning, the Ametlca Maru pull
ed out for San Franclco. Soon afte leav
ing the wharf, a stowaway was discover
ed aboard. He was thrown over the side
into the water but as he was only a white
dog, he didn't seem to mind the treatment
and swam ashore and shook himself.
