The freighter Hawaiian will probably
be ready to sail for San Francisco on Sat
urday. The schooner Alice Kimball, ashore on
the beach at Kahulul, will be sold for the
benefic of the Insurers.
Repair work Is gglng on rapidly on the
steamer Maul. She will be ready for work
again in about two weeks.
The Wilder steamer Helene Is epe:ted
here about the 2 d of June. She began
loading at San Francbco for Honolulu on
the 2ist.
Trouble between the workmen from the
Honolulu Iron Works and the engineer
corps ot the Zealandla was nanowly
a erted yesterday.
The schooner Twilight which left here
for Huelo a week ago today, had not ar
rived up to Saturday morning and great
anxiety was felt for her safety.
The schooner Moluahlne an Ivlng yes
terday spoke the Twilight Saturday after
noon a few miles from her destlnjtlon.
This report s:t at rest the fears of the
Twilight's owners.

The Y. M. 'C. A. has Inaugurated a
new and unique way of handing down
to fame the names of Kb favorite ath
letes. The Innovation Is In the shape
of a handsome wooden banner, on
which in BlU letters are engruved trie

A. Check, E. LI. Clark, O. S. Water
house, A. T. Brock, C. II. Cooke, O. a.

house. These boys comprise the lato
