nesses," passed after sonic discussion.
A sum of $20,000 was Inserted for In
cidentals In tho Judiciary Department.
Tho expenses of the Coroner's Inquests
amounted to $5000. An Item was ap
propriated for Dctectlo Service,
amounting to $0500.
An ltem(of $439.95 was Inserted for
H. M. Dow, Mr. Dow, according to
Prcndcrgast, had fiecn ovcrflned about
thrco years ago, the mlstako not being
discovered until February, 1899. Prcn
dergast Bald It was only a matter of
Justice to Mr, Dow that ho should bo
reimbursed. After a little moro dis
cussion the Item passed.
