Fifth. These memocrs of this coun
cil will appoint among themselves, a
president and a secretary, tho priest
of the Church being tho treasurer, and
having to deposit tho money In tho
name of the Association, at any good
bank, when It comes ti over f 50.
Sixth. Tho general meeting will take
place regularly on tho fourth Sunday
of every month, Immediately after
mass, on the church il'cmlses. And the
council shall havo a meeting any day
beforo to prepare their report. Tho
council may call extra general meet
Ings; and any member of the council
may require extra meeting of tho conn,
ell.
Seventh. In the general meeting all
propositions shall be presented, and
all appropriations voted.
Eighth. The council Is only execu
tive, I. c. It can not do of Itself any
thing of Importance without the con
sent of tho Association in general
meeting.
Ninth. No modification or chango of
Importance can bo mado to these con
stitutions but In general meeting.
Tenth.. Tho Association being es
sentially Catholic, all Catholics of
whatever nationality may be members
of It.
Eleventh. The balance of the mon
ey of tho luau of tho 23d of June, 1901,
will be remitted, nil expenses paid, to
tho treasurer, to bo deposited- at the
bank.
Every one, Catholic, who likes to !
or Is nlrcndy a member, on paying the
monthly fee of 2u cents, will bo nl
lowed to vote, and to put his ballot for
tho six members of tho council, accord
ing to tho article 4th of the constitu
tion, into the ballot box.
The members of the council when
elected will do tho same way among
themselves for tho election of a presi
dent and a secretary. The president
shall lie a man.
