Hilo, Hawaii, June 7, 1901.
Dear Bin: In my Innocence I pur
chased here In Hllo a Jar of your Pin
Honey Pickle (put up by Mrs. B. Q.

great trouble, and one ot three things
1. You must stop making them; or,

3. I'm a ruined man.
Since my first venture I've had many
"Jars." My family from early morn cry
"Pickles;" neighbors ring the door-bell
and shout "Pickles;" relatives visit me
in expectation of "Pickles." Your
pickles are my Nemesis. Pleaso, Dear

Mounted Patrolman Maltland ar

Kaanaana was charged with drunk

testimony, stated that ho had arrested
the native In a Japanese barber-shop
on Llllha street. The native stopped
Maltland In full career, stating that be
bad been arrested in Kakaako and not
on Llllha street, Maltland looked fool

Finally Maltland stated that Patrol
man Ake tvoa wtth him during some
of his arrests, and so the latter was
ctfletk to the stand. The witness
Stated tbttejoqdr pot Maltland had
made the arrest, he had found Kaa

should be taken to the Police Station.
Finally he did as the native requested.
Judge Wilcox allowed Kaanaana to

out where the man arrested or whether
be was drunk on committing a nuisance.
An Opportunity for Some Men
Toe brisk selling of the past few weeks lias played
such havoc with our lines of sizes in NEGLIGEE
6H1RT6, that we have decided this week to offer
you the entire lot at
SHIRTS ) EACH
These are not Inferior shirtsnot one of them.
They are of tine MadnsfMlid colors, full slzs, per
fect fit. Look closely aftef the little things that a
good shirt always has, not one Is missing. What are thev worth?
If we said that they cost us double what we now offer them at, yu would think
we were romancing so we say ALMOST double. They really averaged us Sto.co
a dozen. But no matter If you'ean find your size you are the, gainer, We don't
promise that you will, but remember the sooner you (or your wife) can come In
the better the chance.
